Job Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will run technical and non-technical environmental, health and safety (EHS) projects from initiation through delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activities which bring distinct specific EHS projects to completion both on time and within budget. You will be expected to deliver business results through effective program/project planning, governance, change management, communications and training.

 

Projects may include developing and optimizing EHS business processes through cross-functional project teams and scaling new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Establish requirements, costs, and schedule targets.
  • Plan project activities, assemble cross-functional teams and other critical resources; and manage projects from start through implementation and close out.
  • Take appropriate actions to measure progress and meet the schedule.
  • Manage and drive project team to achieve objectives.
  • Manage organizational change; stakeholder analysis, communications, and planning training
  • Prepare and present project updates at executive reviews and escalate issues threatening the success of the project.
  • Analyze performance data.
  • Summarize final results vs. objectives and take actions to close gaps. Recommend corrective actions
  • Summarize the project results and identify lessons learned to ensure effectiveness and efficiency gains are realized for future projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and drive message on complex content, in front of peers.

Minimum Qualification

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety, chemical engineering, science or engineering or equivalent experience 
  • 7-10 years of experience running waterfall or scrum projects, ideally in the semiconductor, facilities or chemical industry
  • Must have technical experience in environmental and/or occupational health and safety ( EHS)
  • PMP or Scrum Master Certification a plus
