The Global Product Engineering Operations team is looking for an analytically-focused intern to support a new business process and system within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong creative problem solving skills and be able to work both independently and with a team. This internship will be based out of our Fremont headquarters and will last 14-20 weeks between the months of May and September 2018.


Global Product Engineering Operations supports operations and business process across the engineering organization. As an intern on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly diverse team of professionals on deploying a new system called Quickbase which enables engineering program/project tracking and resource management. Your role will allow you to work directly with key stakeholders to identify and analyze issues of the system and coming up with improvement opportunities.


This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail. You should be prepared to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement Quickbase
  • Develop executive dashboards and automate key reports
  • Deliver project presentations to multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Assist with internal projects

     

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on quantitative or business coursework
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must be able to work in a team-setting
  • Authorization to work in the United States

     

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience working with statistical packages
  • Previous internship experience preferred
