Job Responsibilities

 

  • Learn Lam's automated test scripting language and work to standardize how test cases are written between global Pilot manufacturing locations.
  • Work with existing test scripts to analyze potential failure modes and solutions to continue enabling machine learning modeling to help in reaching a smart troubleshooting model.
  • Develop algorithms for data analysis and reduction to characterize the performance of manufacturing processes and equipment startup in the field (experience in C, Python, Excel, Macro creation, or related)
     
Minimum Qualification
  • Enrolled and obtaining a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a heavy software focus 
  • Evidence of strong analytical, problem solving, influence, teamwork, business partnering, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • The ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic, cross functional, team orientated environment
  • A genuine interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn

Lam’s Pilot Engineering team is a part of Global Operations and works cross functionally with design engineering and volume manufacturing to develop the build and test procedures required to construct and ship the some of the most sophisticated equipment in the world to our customers. We leverage our expertise to provide feedback on designs from viewpoints of manufacturability, serviceability, and cost to enable wafer fabrication equipment to be built efficiently, quickly, and safely. Our effective execution enables products to reach scale in manufacturing quickly which accelerates speed to market and enables the continued innovation of our customers.
 
As a Pilot team member, you will be a member of a dynamic organization while thinking creatively about ways to make our processes better, faster, and cheaper. You will share a passion for accelerating the capabilities of the company and customers through improvements of the semiconductor manufacturing process.
