Job Responsibilities
ME or IE Intern to work on projects to support various continues improvement projects within Pilot Manufacturing.
• Evaluates and proposes improvements in the pilot line to help create an effective and efficient operation
• This includes proposing the purchase of capital equipment, working on improvement projects, floor layouts, etc.
• May create, implement/train technicians on certain procedures as it pertains to process improvements
• May work with pilot and warehouse teams on preparing and shipping equipment
• May work with other teams as needed in order to streamline the pilot line
• Must be able to work with manufacturing managers, supervisors, technicians, manufacturing (ME) and test engineers (TE), who enable shipments of new products in a pilot line setting and help release them to High Volume Manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or 3 or more years of college level education.
