Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors NPI products through Pilot’s unreleased production cycle. Works from engineering plans and Pilot specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates and helps to develop plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. This includes driving forecast demand for unreleased products thru Pilot’s URBP process.


Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Create and manipulate configurable 1A BOMs for unreleased products
  • Facilitates cross-functional Configuration Review Board Meetings to ensure accuracy via review and approval
  • Update and maintains Pilot MPS integrity in the Linear Production Rate (LPR) database and ensures data matches with material requirements planning (MRP) through the validation process.
  • Maintain accuracy of forecast demands for both 1A BOMs and raw components using inventory forecast module 
  • Manage all excess inventory driven as a result of configuration changes and/or DMRFs driven by the various product groups



Minimum Education: BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent APICS,CPIM

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related experience

Strong knowledge of MRP and use of SAP
