Job Responsibilities
  • Participates in firmware design process for wafer handling robots, linear or rotary mechanisms, wireless embedded systems integrating microcontroller and sensor devices
  • Designs control system hardware by integrating off-the-shelf motion controller, electrical harnesses, circuit boards into mechanical enclosure
  • Performs analysis related to wafer handling mechanisms, such as motor and servo component sizing, trajectory and dynamic force analysis
  • Develops and execute test plans to generate characterization data sufficient to understand and validate the performance of the design
  • Develops and present reports/presentations of excellent quality that communicate design intent, analysis, and validation at design reviews
Minimum Qualification


  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics focus; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong knowledge of C, C++ and Python
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry or Mechatronics coursework
  • CAD (NX or Creo)
  • Knowledge of MS Office
