Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a summer intern who will be working with several senior engineers for a well-rounded experience at Lam Research. Exposure to robotics, vacuum chambers, pressure control, heat transfer, control systems, wafer processing.
Intern responsibilities include:
- Designing solutions in CAD including 3D and 2D drawings
- Preparing presentations in MS PowerPoint
- Conducting design reviews with senior management
- Validation of prototypes in lab environment
Minimum Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering student working on MS or BS degree.
Maximum 2 years of school left to graduation at summer 2021.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer candidate with:
- Hands on experience: machine shop, CNC, sheet metal fabrication, school projects.
- Heat transfer interest/experience.
- Robotics interest/experience.
- Some CAD experience. Creo and/or NX preferred.
