The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The Impact You’ll Make

Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the Operational Execution of CSBG’s Upgrades and Reliant Systems Business
  • Ensure proper configuration, scope, and operational executability of the CSBG Upgrades and Reliant Systems business
  • Support Sales Operations and Account Teams to ensure Upgrades and Reliant Systems meet the customer’s defined needs
  • Ensure and drive for operational and factory capability for specific customer projects (Refurbishment of systems or off-site Technology Upgrades)
  • Drive Cost Reduction through configuration and scope management
  • Work cross functionally to improve overall product quality
• Support Business Development and Product Management with business growth
  • Perform analysis on specific projects for feasibility and costs
  • Provide costing scenarios for VPAs (Volume Purchase Agreements)
• Drive Operations Excellence throughout the organization
  • Enhance business resiliency and operational execution through focus on efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, and business process transformation

Who We’re Looking For

• Role can be located in the Bay Area or Tualatin, OR
• BS Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years working in the semiconductor capital equipment industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence, manage and drive results within a complex organizational environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and meet programs objectives
• Experienced in organization and driving actionable outcomes in fluid and complex business situations 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lam Products, specifically 2300 Etch equipment preferred
• Experience with Hardware Configuration/Product Management preferred

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
