Job Responsibilities

This Business Operations Sr. Manager role is responsible to support the HR organization with consistent business results, processes, policies and practices, accountability systems and ownership.


  • Oversee Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and management
    • Drive development of cohesive annual operating plans across the organizations: Operationalize Organization’s strategies into measurable stretch objectives; Establish accountability systems to monitor performance and plans that support a high probability of successful achievement.  Also ensuring the integration of goal setting, auditing of metrics and KPI’s and aligning these goals with other Regions and Business Units
    • Ensure Annual Incentive Plans (AIP) align with organizational objectives and priorities
    • Establish and lead Operation Reviews process to track and manage to operating plan
    • Identifies risk areas to meeting commitments and advises the leadership team
    • Ensure Performance Management and Development (PM&D) activities completed across the org to the required corporate standard

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Drive effective and efficient processes and tools to ensure consistent and predictable business results
  • Provide PMO support on project planning and management to aid in plan development, identify issues, recommend solutions, and oversee implementation of solutions
  • Manage org’s financial planning and spend, manage budgeting process
    • Drive setting of AOP budget for the year
    • Responsible for oversight of financial internal controls
    • Deliver budget and planning in support of quarterly financial planning cycles
  • Contract management/oversight for org’s third-party contracts.  Includes alignment of Legal support and approval and ongoing billing approval
    • Lead the process of creating HR people metrics and goals for the corporation
      • Ensure alignment with Sr. Leadership on yearly goals during AOP planning
      • Analyze YTD performance and identify risks and mitigations with HR leadership team
      • Provide quarterly updates on performance to CEO staff and Board of Directors

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of opex budget management
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / analytics capability
  • Ability to translate complex organizational strategies into measurable objectives
  • Experience with creating / improving integrated business processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze complex situations
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
