As a key member of the Lam Global Operations Finance Team, you will work with Operations business partners to help manage worldwide spares inventory balances while minimizing E&O exposure. You will help optimize the planning, logistics and warehousing cost structure while understanding customer requirements related to spares stocking levels and unique natural of spares revenue opportunities.   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with spares operations, product groups, and logistics on projects related to inventory managment, spares planning, procurement, and cost optimization
  • Coordinate all aspects of financial forecasting, close and reporting
  • Lead and develop team of financial analysts
  • Gather and review existing processes and financial workflows and recommend improvements to streamline, automate or transition to a lower cost region.
  • Support ROI analysis for internal spares project resource requirements and external supplier inventory deal transactions.
  • Financial management responsibility for worldwide sapres inventory and associated excess and obsolete analsis.
  • Provide Financial analysis and reporting to identify trends in inventory management performance, including creation of custom models for inventory consumption/E&O risk
  • Manage month-end close activities, including inventory reclassifications, preparations of JVs and account reconciliations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Finance Accounting, Business or related discipline. MBA or CPA preferred, but other relevant designations will be considered.
  • 8 years of corporate finance experience (Hi-Tech Finance Environment, preferred)
  • Experience with MS Excel (formatting, advanced filtering, macros, pivot tables and functions such as lookup, concatenate, if).
  • Experience with SAP (or other enterprise system) or refining and marketing systems (e.g. inventory systems and terminal accounting systems) preferred.
