This is a Product Management Operations position within the Reliant Product Line in the Customer Support Business Unit. Product Management is a leadership role, representing the Product across all organizational boundaries, acting as the conductor leading other groups and organizations. The Product Management Operations role is an opportunity to support multiple Product Managers with products in all stages of the Product Lifecycle, from new concept to end of life.

•Gather and share product forecasts, installed base data, configuration order history, and other product performance related data to support prioritization and development decisions

•Work with supply chain, productivity, marketing, spares and account teams to analyze product cost performance and track execution of reduction plans

•Support program/project managers with product operations related data and release activities

•Manage announcement and implementation of product enhancements, new options, and fixes

•Support development of product Plan of Records (POR)

•Interface with operations to manage implementation of aligned product changes, proliferation of new options or products, and obsolete part transitions

•Respond to field request for product features, change descriptions, shipment requests of unreleased parts, etc.

•Work with product change management groups to implement product releases

•Order and track status of unreleased material to support new product shipments and proliferation. Collect and analyze inventory exposure; execution disposition of unreleased material as aligned with the product manager.

•Coordinate and monitor execution of mandatory retrofits and supplier quality excursion recovery programs

•Manage execution of requests for product enhancements, change notices, and customer requests for functionality not currently available.

 


Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
