Program/Project Manager (University/Technology partnerships)

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

What You’ll Do

External Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with executive university officials and external partners.

• Program Strategies: Design and implement effective program strategies to drive university projects and initiatives.
• Software Product Background: Utilize your expertise in commercial software products development.
• Partnerships/Academia Projects: Lead and coordinate academic and commercial technology partnerships, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance program effectiveness.
• Technology Partnerships: Foster technology partnerships to support innovation and growth

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in innovation, technology, or business development within academic or industry settings. Experience at a multinational company is a plus.
• Partnerships: Proven track record in creating academic and/or commercial technology partnerships and identifying ROI opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Strong ability to build relationships with researchers, stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to develop and tell compelling stories across multiple mediums, including web applications and PowerPoint presentations.
• Commercial Software Background: Solid background in commercial software and software development

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
