You will work with the Etch Product Group Engineering Excellence team, improving engineering quality and productivity through standards, business processes and software solutions.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who has experience with engineering product development processes/best practices.  This candidate will have knowledge of enabling CAD efficiencies and automations as well as a passion for standards, details and consistent design and documentation methods. Using an internal customer perspective, will coordinate cross-functional teams of impacted stakeholders and can perform non-technical project management to completion, both on time and within budget. 

• Continuous improvement which includes all elements of the engineering development and release process from the tools we use to communicate, to the engineering practices themselves
• Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement
• Work cross functionally to align with requirements and functionality with stakeholders
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation
• Create, present and maintain effective training
• Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results
• Manage CFTs with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities

Who We’re Looking For

• Expected minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Skills in Excel is a must but demonstrable capability with VBA, SQL, JMP, Qlik, Access, QuickBase, SAP, and Matlab. Other programming languages is a plus
• Client-facing and internal communication skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Leadership skills with applicable experience
• Influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
• Process knowledge in PLM and ERP required
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Other experience that would prove highly valuable: Mechanical Engineering, Modeling in NX 10 or newer, including 5+ years modeling experience, Product Configuration Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Intel Copy Exactly
• Field Service, Logistics/Spares experience

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
