Job Responsibilities

Lam Research‘s Etch Product Group is seeking a Technical Program Manager (New Product Introduction) to develop solutions that balance Supply Chain flexibility with adequate Engineering control. Targeted candidates will have experience in engineering product development, Material/Supply Chain Management, Complete Product Structure Bills of Material, Option Architecture and Engineering Change Control. This includes applying an internal customer perspective to initiate business process changes, leads and coordinates cross-functional teams (CFT), defines timelines and milestones, drives alignment with impacted stakeholders with a focus of continuous improvement.


  • Work as a liaison between Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve part sourcing and procurement constraints
  • Continuous improvement. This includes all elements of the engineering development and release process from the tools we use to communicate to the engineering practices themselves
  • Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Work cross functionally to align requirements and functionality with stakeholders
  • Create, release and maintain comprehensive process documentation aligned with ISO compliance
  • Create, present and maintain effective training
  • Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results
  • Manage CFTs with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities to drive to solutions and alignment (with program objective, product release and material cut-in strategies, E&O and effectivities)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and creating presentations using visualization techniques and tools
  • Standard MS Suite proficiency is a must
  • Excellent client-facing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong leadership skills with applicable experience
  • Strong Influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
  • Process knowledge in PLM and ERP required
  • Other experience that would prove highly valuable: Product Configuration Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Field Service, Logistics/Spares
