Job Responsibilities

The Pilot Operations organization is tasked with the challenge of driving accelerated transition of new products from development to high volume manufacturing.

 

In Pilot Operations, Program Managers serve as individual contributors responsible for developing processes and tools that enable our internal partners (Supply Chain Management, Supplier Business Managers, and Purchasing) to perform their functions more efficiently. Project development for such tools can be simple, i.e., minor changes to processes/reports, or complex, requiring the Program Manager to scope the requirement, assemble a cross-functional team, develop timelines for completion, create new products (e.g., reports, dashboards, documents), and drive execution. Program Managers also maintain and manage processes key to achieving KPI’s and critical SLA’s. In addition to other responsibilities, a primary responsibility for this PM will be to serve as business process owner for the Virtual Warehouse and ERF 3.0.

 

Functions supported by Program Management include:

  • Supplier and commodity performance metrics
  • Procurement metrics
  • Supplier certification and training
  • Commodity forecasting and capacity management
  • Continuous improvement initiatives – internal and supplier-driven

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Managment, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Five years' of experience in a related role in a high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Three (3) years Project management experience.
  • Adept using all Microsoft standard applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with the following programs / applications:
    • SAP
    • SharePoint
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Power BI
  • Six Sigma certification
  • SQL programming

Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min: $69,000 -  Max: $159,000

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
