Lam Research Corporation has been a major supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and services to the worldwide semiconductor industry for nearly 30 years.  With corporate headquarters located in Fremont, California, the Company maintains a network of facilities throughout North America, Europe, and Asia to meet the complex and changing needs of its global customer base.

The Global Compensation Department provides support to our business units on job analysis/evaluation, market pricing and reward and recognition program development and implementation.  As a key member of our compensation team we are seeking a senior analyst/program manager to serve as an integral partner on our Global HR team.
Position Overview:
The Sr. Staff Compensation Analyst/Program Manager will be primarily responsible for designing, executing and improving Lam’s global compensation programs. Additional responsibilities will include providing a broad range of consultation, analysis, program design and process support to HRBPs and Line Managers of an assigned client group.  This role will work closely with teams within and outside the compensation group and the impact will be global with high visibility. 

Qualifications:                                         

  • Act as the primary point of contact on the compensation team to execute global compensation annual cycle programs for salary, bonus and stock planning (e.g. Focal and Mid-Year Advance payout)
  • Manage all program analytics and post program reviews
  • Provide thought leadership regarding compensation philosophy, practices and programs for the company
  • Collaborate with HRIS, Analytics and HR Operations teams regarding compensation data, projects and processes
  • Partner with internal communications to develop and publish all pay related internal facing communications
  • Develop and deliver compensation program education and training content
  • Will also be responsible for providing high level analysis and client support for assigned organizations within the Company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field with a minimum of 10+ years relevant experience; advanced degree and high technology industry experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience running programs, projects or operations for compensation teams
  • Experience developing communication materials for compensation related topics
  • Experience working independently and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS cloud systems; SuccessFactors preferred but not required
  • Ability to independently lead multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously
  • Highly proficient with desktop software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and specifically Excel; demonstrated ability to effectively utilize SAP and web-based tools
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy in written work and reports and exercises good judgment
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic; ability to interact effectively with team members and employees across cultures and job levels
