The Impact You’ll Make

As part of Lam’s digital transformation program, you will oversee the design and development of end-to-end architecture for the Supply chain or corporate functions, including the vision, strategy, and execution for complex applications and processes. This role will be embedded into business functions and will need deep understanding of business areas and challenges with a mindset to disrupt and transform them. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing business architecture for multiple complex projects, driving systems architecture, identifying integrations, identifying and championing the creation and use of common services and components. You will be making recommendations on process changes, systems choices, technical issues, standards, and strategies. This role entails collaborating with other teams including business, solution architects, vendors and engineering teams to provide best in class architecture solutions. You will be driving decision-making processes to align business priorities and objectives to roadmaps and driving incremental value.  This role requires researching emerging technology trends, new models, vendor solutions and market opportunities to identify potential industry disruptors that could help Lam excel and lead the semiconductor industry. What You’ll Do

  • Build business relationships and partnership with clients to maintain relevance to client organizations
  • Work as product manager to create the vision for the capabilities, platforms, roadmaps and key activities to make programs successful and collaborates and makes this vision executable
  • Leading architecture development for high architecture impact projects/initiatives
  • Creates target states with key capabilities, identifies dependencies and roadblocks
  • Works across the company to socialize vision, eliminate roadblocks
  • Acts as a thought leader across business and technology team to make target state actionable through execution roadmaps
  • Leads assessment and analysis – providing architecture feedback to management
  • Ensures standards and frameworks are followed in a pragmatic manner
  • Scans industry for disrupting trends and applies to LAM via POC’s and path to production
  • Partners with Process/ System / Technology Architects to support strategic development and execution
  • Mentoring up and coming Enterprise Architects
  • Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities

Who We’re Looking For

  • Broad understanding of Business vision, strategies, capabilities, and dependencies
  • Understanding of at least 2 or more business functions including Supply chain (Manufacturing,
  • Procure to Pay, Logistics, Warehousing), Finance, Global Trade, Services in multi country, multi product manufacturing organization.
  • Deep functional knowledge of end 2 end processes associated systems and technologies
  • Deep understanding of patterns/practices such as microservices, evolutionary architecture, event driven architecture, pub/sub and message driven systems, service-oriented architecture, data integration, API first approaches.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills including conducting research, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews and providing standard methodologies. Thought leadership in recommending strategic technology options and technology product strategy
  • Experience driving adoption of enterprise standards and standard methodologies
  • Excellent presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills as well as skills for influencing technology direction in business context.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • A track record of critical problem solving and advanced process and technical troubleshooting to drive resolution to business issues
  • Expert understanding of data models, database schemas, and optimization in domain driven design
  • Deep understanding of and experience with cloud-native software architecture
  • Experience designing and implementing master data and/or data warehouse solutions
  • Familiarity with data governance workflows and leading practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Data Management /  Engineering / Computer Science
  • Hands on experience with SAP, MS Dynamics, Cloud Architecture, Custom product development

Salary

 

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $129,000.00 -  $272,000.00.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
