The Impact You’ll Make

As Analytics lead in Enterprise Analytics group at Lam Research you will be responsible for leading multiple projects in data analytics space. You will be strategizing, designing, and building the analytics apps and coordinate with the development team, reporting and advanced fashion across the enterprise to support the business needs and collaborate with data architecture, business, and development teams. You will also guide application and business development teams in the analytics design of complex solutions and ensure that they are in alignment with the GIS COE Analytics principles, standards, strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Use leadership abilities in Analytics COE to drive projects and processes from discovery through delivery
  • Define, maintain, and promote the advanced analytics standards and processes as part of GIS Center of Excellence across the company.
  • Collaborate with Process leads, Business SMEs of digital transformation program and provide the leadership to define the analytics strategy and execution plan.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions and applications including statistical data models, reports, and dashboards in Microsoft Azure tech stack.
  • Demonstrate the new capabilities of advanced analytics to business and technology teams to show the potential of the Data Fabric platform.
  • Offer insight, guidance, and direction on the usage of emerging data analytics trends and technical capabilities.
  • Design and develop Advanced Analytics applications using Power BI, Synapse, SQL Warehouses including ETL pipelines using Microsoft Azure Platform
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key business sponsors and IT resources for the efficient resolution of work requests.
  • Utilize technical and domain knowledge to develop and implement effective solutions; provide hands-on mentoring to team members through all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile practices.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of building and launching new data models that provide intuitive analytics for the analysts and customers. 
  • 4+ years of experience in designing, building the advanced Analytics Solutions using Power BI/Power Platform and other BI tools.
  • 8+ years of MS SQL experience with data modeling and Python background.
  • Solid experience in working with Microsoft Azure and strong knowledge about ADLS, Blob Storage, Data Factory, SQL Servers, and Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Data Bricks, Redshift, BIG Query)
  • Strong experience working with and analyzing large datasets, within the relevant domains of IoT and enterprise data.
  • Must have strong experience in Data Warehouse ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Communication and presentation experience with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues.
  • Strong Computer Science and Mathematics background preferred.
  • Excellent query writing skill and communication skills preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, Data Science, Analytics or in a relevant Engineering discipline. Masters or Phd preferred.
  • Certification in Cloud native analytics and data platforms like MS Azure/Power BI
  • Project Management and Leadership trainings/certificates

Salary

 

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $129,000.00 -  $272,000.00.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
