Job Responsibilities
Representing the Global Supply Chain Management organization (GSCM) within Global Operations, the Supplier Contract Lifecycle Manager is the single point of contact for all of Lam’s Supplier contracts. In addition, the position is responsible for Foreign Trade and Government related Regulatory Compliance.
Main contract duties include providing guidance to GSCM on the appropriate agreements to enter into with suppliers (e.g., nondisclosure agreements, statements of work, trade partner agreements, standard purchase agreements, product development agreements, etc.) to achieve the required business objective, facilitating approval/signature routing, reporting status to stakeholders and driving GSCM Business initiatives, including data rights, IP ownership, and visibility and accountability of contractual obligations.
Managing compliance of U.S. export control laws and regulations, and other laws, including supplier on-boarding, legal entity verification, auditing and ongoing Supplier self-assessment, surveys and acknowledgments. Note: The position requires close interaction and alignment with the dedicated Supplier CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Manager who is responsible for CSR Supplier Compliance & Regulations (including Supplier Code of Conduct, Lam’s Conflict Minerals filing (Dodd-Frank section 1502), Anti-Slavery-Forced/Bonded Labor Regulations and filings).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related business field.
- Three years working with Legal Business contracts; Project Management experience
- Ability to read and analyze contracts and compliance legislation and laws required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including TEAMs, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Excellent cross functional skills required to interact with Global Supply Chain groups, Corporate Legal, Foreign Trade and other internal stakeholders
- Must have excellent written, verbal and virtual communication skills
- Must be comfortable giving presentations to executive staff and management and ability to prioritize
- Have a transformative mindset, including relentless focus on continuous approvement and positive user empathy perspective, with demonstrated ability and motivation to define vision and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with/in Operations or Supply Chain
- Experience with a contracts database, SAP, Power BI (systems thinking)
- Paralegal or JD advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a team
