Job Responsibilities

Lead software/test design efforts, including authoring and reviewing proposals
Schedule, direct, and monitor software/test design activities to ensure the project isaccomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget
Architect, design, implement, verify, and support complex software/test automation systemsWork with cross functional teams with Process Engineers and Electrical/MechanicalEngineers, providing Software and System Design input and review
Accept technical responsibility for the project and staff working on the project
Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the product or service
Clearly communicate and present designs and tradeoffs to development/testing team,customers, and potential customers
Support internal and external customers
May visit customer site to provide support
Offer mentorship and technical guidance for junior engineers

Other Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Real time software development experience in real time operating systems
  Machine control programming experience
  Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a B.S in Computer science, ComputerEngineering, Electronics, or related field; or 5 years and a Master’s in Computer science; or aPhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
  Experience in Semiconductor development beneficial
  Must be a flexible team player, willing to engage in diverse technical challenges requiringcreativity and critical reasoning
  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
