Job Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic supplier programs
  • Lam Accountable Executive for the performance of strategic/mission critical outsource service providers (OSP)
  • Lead the selection of strategic outsource services providers
  • Establish and manage supplier management business processes, e.g., performance-based service delivery, periodic supplier executive-level business reviews, audits, compliance activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal business controls, including procurement and legal reviews, in the award of service contracts
  • Ensure that contracting for, and delivery of, strategic facilities infrastructure investments comply with Lam internal business controls and local laws
  • Lead cross-functional teams to architect service delivery processes and tools
  • Focus on scalability and predictability
  • Validate service performance through industry best practices and stakeholder feedback
  • Coordinate between Lam sites the identification & proliferation of facilities services best practices
  • Initiate and manage strategic facilities asset management programs that support Lam’s long-term quality, cost and speed objectives
  • Lead GWS sustainability program
  • Represent GWS on Corporate Social Responsibility team
  • Develop and manage strategies addressing energy reduction and open-market energy purchases

 

Other Job Responsibilities
  • Architect and drive Global Workplace Solutions key operational strategies
  • Responsible for GWS participation, response to Risk Management, ISO, Quality, Financial, and Customer Audits, including action plans
  • Program manage facilities commissioning of strategic facilities investments
  • Lead cross-site teams of subject matter experts to start up and stabilize new labs and manufacturing facilities
  • Ensure that operating practices are established at new locations
  • Lead the GWS business continuity program (BCP)
  • Represent GWS on Lam’s Corporate Incident Management Team
  • Coordinate representation by GWS on Site Incident Management Teams
  • Audit, update, test GWS BCP plans
  • Validate/audit strategic supplier BCP
  • Possess and demonstrate strong business acumen to set strategies, deliver innovation & set priorities for strategic programs ahead of asset management and business unit needs
  • Understand and adapt to the unique challenges of semiconductor capital equipment industry
  • Architect business processes and tools to optimize Lam’s bricks-and-mortar asset management strategies
  • Ensure compliance in a complex legal, financial and regulatory environment
  • Drive transformational changes
  • Develop & mentor the next level leaders as Lam Research prepares the company to scale to $15B/annual revenue with growing global footprint
  • Drive & improve accountability system in the organization to deliver predictable results inside a matrixed organization

 

Minimum Qualification
  • Lab and/or facilities operations experience
  • Extensive experience dealing with complex analytics and extracting actionable information (e.g., quality performance data, balance sheet, P&L, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation & collaboration skills within an Engineering & Manufacturing environment
  • Represents Lam to outside agencies, consultants, etc.
  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead & mentor people
  • Strong demonstrated leadership and management skills, ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
  • Experience managing a team of highly skilled & experienced leaders to achieve technical and business objectives
  • Achievement-oriented, self-starter possessing strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on supporting stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with ability to understand and customize messaging based on intended audience.
  • 15+ years in semiconductor industry
  • Experience making decisions and managing multiple complex programs successfully
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
Preferred Qualification
  • Lean / 6 Sigma black belt certification highly desirable
  • Master’s degree preferred.  Experience in contract law, real estate management and management accounting a plus.
