General Description

Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, the Senior Treasury Analyst will assist with the day to day operations and management of Lam’s Cash Management, Investments, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange, Credit & Collections, and Insurance activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and financial modeling skills and in-depth understanding of financial statement analysis. In addition, the ability to think strategically, develop effective business partner relationships and seek opportunities for continuous improvement is highly preferred.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Lam’s cash & investment strategy, including but not limited to, maintenance of global banks accounts, portfolio management, reporting, return metrics and risk analysis.
  • Administration of Lam’s private equity investments, working in close partnership with Corporate Development.
  • Analyze and prepare accurate forecasts of Lam’s Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and Other Income & Expense for monthly, quarterly, and long-range planning.
  • Support the company’s foreign exchange risk hedging activities which includes identification and consolidation of FX exposures, execution of trades and reporting of hedging activity.
  • Execute Lam’s capital return program, including share repurchase and dividend related activities, along with stock valuation analysis.
  • Assist with the implementation of financing arrangements including deal execution, convertible bond settlements, as well as covenant compliance.
  • Create quarterly presentations, which may include board-level, rating agency and internal and external management reporting.
  • Assist with the renewal of Lam’s various insurance policies and any claims management.
  • Prepare A/R aging reports of customer accounts and open letters of credits.
  • Assist in managing Lam’s capital budget and expenditure process.
  • Prepare footnotes and disclosures for SEC filings (e.g. 10Q/10K) as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate policies, FASB guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and requests as needed to support Lam’s global teams.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA, or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Strong understanding of treasury, corporate finance, capital markets, investments and foreign exchange.
  • Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills; Ability to provide sound financial and business judgment, and strategic thinking.
  • Communication skills are essential, with ability to connect effectively across all levels of internal and external audiences (both verbally and in writing)
  • Team player with ‘can do’ attitude, curiosity to learn and tackle new tasks, and possess strong drive and initiative.
  • Treasury software and systems experience desirable (e.g. Bloomberg, SAP, FXall, Capella, MMF Portals, treasury workstations, etc.)
  • A leader who demonstrates commitment to Lam’s core values.
