Systems Engineer


Summary
We have a unique opportunity for a Systems Engineer reporting to the Senior Manager Systems Engineering in CSBG. As a Systems Engineer, you will work as part of team in our engineering product development group to develop requirements, assist in project scope requests, establish characterization programs at the system and sub system level, define test plans and help manage system level risk as products are brought to market. We are located at our Fremont headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley.


Responsibilities:
This person will be developing a semiconductor fabrication equipment and systems for Etch semiconductor market. This person will represent the system engineering group and be responsible for the systems engineering deliverables.  
o Converting Marketing Requirements into Engineering Specification

o Conducting system architecture analysis and developing models

o Designs experiments to characterize sub systems and systems

o Statistical Analysis of Variation and SPC methods

o Setting Reliability and Productivity Objectives

o Driving Reliability plans and improvement ( IRONMAN methods)

o Familiar with various etch process technology

o Ability to execute and deliver against tight time schedules.
o Develop cost reduction tradeoffs, yield improvement, and cycle time reductions.
o Database information management (QuickBase, JMP, Excel, etc.)
o Team leadership with demonstrated ability to motivate and work with other technical resources.

Qualifications:

o BS Engineering or Related Science minimum  Ph.D or Masters Preferred

o 2 to 7 years technology/engineering experience with semiconductor fabrication products.
o Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail
o Successful track record of working within a matrix technical environment
