TAX INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION 2019

 

Job Description

The candidate will assist the Tax Department at Lam Research Corporation, a large multinational corporation located at Fremont, California with extracting, analyzing and compiling financial data for use in the preparation of the company’s global tax provision and direct & indirect tax reporting in various taxing jurisdictions. 

The candidate will be exposed to the various areas within the tax function (domestic, international and/or planning) to allow for exposure to different processes that occur within the department and the finance group overall.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently and as a part of team with professionals at all levels.

The candidate should have strong academic credentials, demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Qualification

The candidate should have or be working towards a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation, or JD or LLM Degree (with undergraduate accounting degree).

Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
