Job Responsibilities

The Technical Program Manager is a leadership position that is responsible for driving large cross functional technical teams to enable solutions for Etch process module hardware product development and release.


The CFT consists of mechanical and electrical engineers, product technologists, pilot manufacturing, supply chain, software and firmware teams, and many others.  Ability to lead the (CFT), through strategic and tactical thinking, and manage accountability using sound program management skills. Familiar with program management principles (PMI cert preferred or equivalent).  Worked with various Product Development and Release (PDR) processes in the past and understands Roles and Responsibilities (R&R) of various CFT members throughout the product lifecycle. 


The successful candidate must have clear and thorough communication and presentation skills, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, the ability to see the big picture and grasp complex interconnections. Comfortable presenting in front of senior product group executives, and peer groups (CFT). Prepare high level as well as detailed schedules, manage resource leveling, and budgeting. Well versed in risk assessment methodology and mitigation planning.  Understand complex product option architectures, Engineering change management implementation and detailed BOM management, etc. Use problem solving and decision-making processes to address project/org needs.


Additionally, the candidate will have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:  mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process/product support technology, mechanical/electrical systems.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Project, Program Management tools
  • Must be a self-starter “a bias for action” and be able to operate independent of day to day supervision
  • Direct experience leading large cross-functional teams
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • 10+ years of industry experience or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking and attention to details for everyday tactical execution
  • Excellent people and presentation skills
  • Technical background, preferably in semiconductor industry and Etch equipment product knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred
