Sr.Sr. Continuous Improvement Manager, Global Quality

Job Responsibilities
This is a critical position at Lam, intended to contribute significantly to its Quality journey & enhance the Quality culture by establishing and deploying standards across the organization. This position will focus on upstream business processes that affect customer experience. Core responsibilities include:
- Benchmark, collaborate and establish standards for upstream business processes closer to design at Lam to help achieve COQ reduction targets and enhance customer experience
- Develop standards for the upstream processes to demonstrate identification, evaluation, and appropriate actions to prevent recurrence of nonconformities
- Develop standards for the product development process to enable identification, tracking and reduction of escapes
- Partner with Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering to develop standards for DFR & DFM to improve product reliability and drive reduction in warranty costs and overall COQ
- Design efficient and effective a risk-based program to identify and assess the potential failure points of new product to achieve product launch excellence
- Develop scorecards and drive continuous improvement programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness of upstream processes
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in engineering, quality management or technology
- BS with 15 years of experience or MS with 12 years of experience in Quality Management
- Demonstrated success in using structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools to solve complex problems
- Significant experience in DFR, FMEAs, DFM and product reliability management
- Demonstrated experience in design Quality and product launch excellence
- Must be able to influence in a fast-paced, cross-functional, matrixed organization.
- Effective communication, collaboration, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Monitors and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as, global regulations and expectations
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate organizational, prioritization, and time management proficiencies
- Willingness to think outside of the box and adapt best practices via benchmarking
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics
- Advanced expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, DMAIC, 8D) and quality tools
- Proficiency in advanced statistics
- ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor
