VM Operations Manager

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in working with state-of-the-art tools and techniques in the endpoint vulnerability management arena. As part of the Global end-user Computing Services at Lam, he/she will be responsible for driving critical activities and projects to success as well as shaping the future of Lam's endpoint vulnerability management processes and environment.

He/she is part of a globally acting team, spread across different continents and time zones. This allows us to be close to our end-users and incorporate their feedback in our immediate activities around keeping the systems current and secure, deploying new applications, features, and policies.

In this role, the individual we are looking for is

• Responsible for vulnerability mgmt. on corporate end-user devices including related management reporting
• Overseeing a team of technical experts driving and improving vulnerability mgmt. processes
• Ensuring KPIs are within agreed boundaries and defined SLAs are met in collaboration with managed service providers
• Driving Cross-functional-taskforces and -problem management for endpoints globally

Who We’re Looking For

• BS/MS in Business Informatics, Information Systems, related studies or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
• 5+ years of experience in executing vulnerability management in a Microsoft environment
• 4+ years of experience in technical team-lead roles
• Technically sound knowledge and understanding of the following technologies/concepts
  • Security Tools (like MDE, Windows Firewall, Beyond Trust, Netskope, etc.)
  • Modern Device Management (Win10/Win11) through MEM/M365
  • Microsoft AD and Entra
• Hands-on exposure to and experience in remediation activities as part of Vulnerability Management in large enterprises
• Profound experience of leading global & remote teams of technology experts and managed service contracts
• Experience in problem-/ project management and related ITSM-tools and -procedures
• Exposure to vulnerability management for devices not on MS-OS (e.g. Android, iOS, etc.)
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft cloud eco-system (M365, Windows365, Defender) and related interfaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ISO27k processes, controls, audits, and certification activities
• Flexibility as we as a global team need to take ownership and work flexible working hours

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
