Job Responsibilities
- Chartered with executing to regional quality objectives.
- Provides leadership in fostering a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset in the region.
- Ensures the voice of the customer on quality is accurately and consistently represented within the region and factories.
- Develops, implements, and maintains the activities of quality control systems.
- Oversees development and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
- Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications.
Other Job Responsibilities
- Drives timely and effective closure of the customer’s high-level concerns with region and factories and improve Lam’s quality performance.
- Partners with customer, service management, and other functions to create, review, and act upon customer experience (CX) metrics and quality key performance indicators (KPI).
- Establishes expertise in problem statement creation and root cause determination (8D/5Why/Ishikawa)
- Partners with service management to influence effective implementation of workmanship quality standards.
- Holds service teams and other internal stakeholders accountable for delivering on quality objectives through the establishment of effective accountability systems.
- Works as part of the global Quality Program Leader (QPL) team to improve processes and share best-known methods (BKM) to improve results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in quality or operations.in the semiconductor or other technical industry.
- Strong analytical capability to identify trends and patterns in quality data to drive required improvement.
- Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interaction skills with customers and internal functions at all levels.
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Quality Management systems and tools such as customer Corrective Action Requests, 8D problem solving methodologies, Failure Analysis, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and other quality tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform in matrixed and cross-functional environments within a global organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in advancing a quality culture.
- Customer-centric mindset.
- Alternate locations including ID or AZ may be possible.
