The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

 

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

 

The Impact You’ll Make

Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third party warehousing. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  1. 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Vendor Management:  
    1)    Coordination on 3PL operation (warehouses & transportation) to deliver KPI of On Time Delivery & Shipping Accuracy.
    2)    Drive Continuous Improvement on Cost/Operation/Process/Automation.
    3)    New warehouse & logistics routes feasibility study & implementation on schedule.
    4)    3PL Billing and Spending review, payment approval process.
  2. Reverse Logistics
    1)    Spares parts core return consolidation and expedition to meet KPI.
    2)    Manage logistics process from TW customers to US and/or other regions.
  3. Spares Parts Quality Purge depot/consign inspection/quarantine/return consolidation. 
  4. Streamline projects: Include Warehouse Operation, Transportation related projects to Automation, Visual Management Dashboard and lead cross functional projects initiation, implementation and result delivery.

Who We’re Looking For

1. Bachelor degree or above (IE degree preferred)
2. Well English writing and speaking skills
3. Microsoft skills (ppt, excel, word)
4. Familiar with SAP & WMS (warehouse management system)
5. Over 5 years’ logistics/warehouse experience
6. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is optional but preferred7. Problem-solving skill and report analysis skills
8. Program managements skills
9. will do / can do attitude to challenging task

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
