Position Overview:


Business Continuity Program Manager

The business continuity team in the Global Workplace Solutions group creates an integrated approach to business resilience and leads the corporation in implementing sound strategies to meet recovery time objectives approved by the board of directors.   A Business Continuity Manager works with leaders across the enterprise to identify risks and critical functions, build plans for their recovery, test and maintain these plans, assist executive leaders in validating the state of their preparedness and measures the company's continuity objectives.  Becoming a part of this team provides an opportunity to work across the company, assisting business units and the executive office to increase the level of readiness for customers, company and employees.

The Business Continuity Program Manager will:

  • Use her/his acumen in semiconductor manufacturing to identify and mitigate continuity risks to engineering, manufacturing, direct and indirect materials and support functions. 
  • Lead continuity initiatives and ensure successful completion of the test and maintenance of business impact assessments and continuity plans.  Provide business partners visibility of program milestones and status of progress. 
  • Proactively analyze lab and manufacturing continuity investments to meet recovery time objectives, construction schedules and results and ensure the most effective solutions are delivered.    
  • Consolidate complex information regarding ongoing actions and/or assigned projects into level-appropriate written summaries and/or verbal briefings for key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need strong semiconductor industry experience and the ability to manage a broad range of projects simultaneously and interact effectively with all levels of personnel around the globe.  The candidate will need to be creative, strategically adept, detail-oriented and capable of synthesizing and abstracting complex information into clear messages for the executive office.   She/he must have strong experience driving cross-organizational projects to resolution, ability to work well in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams as a leader.  Excellent written and oral communications skills, strong business acumen, and technical savvy.

Key strengths include discipline, attention to detail, organizational skills, program/project management, ability to influence at all levels of an organization.



  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience and 5 years business continuity management responsibility in the semiconductor industry.
  • Consistent demonstrated performance over several years of applying and improving business continuity professional practices in the semiconductor industry including: risk evaluation and control, impact analysis, business continuity strategies, emergency response, business continuity plans, training programs, business continuity plan exercises, audit and maintenance and crisis communications.
  • Willingness to provide on-call management support, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in a fast-paced global environment with flexible work hours
  • Possess problem solving and analytical skills


Educational requirements:

  • Bachelors in engineering or equivalent
  • CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or MBCP (Master Business Continuity Professional) certification or equivalent
  • Master’s degree or equivalent preferred
