Industrial Engineer 3 (Manufacturing)

Lam Research is seeking an Senior Industrial Engineer3 in Livermore, California. 

This critical position will partner with manufacturing management and will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes by identifying and driving the implementation of appropriate Lean methodologies.

Job Functions/Duties:
•Enabling continuous improvement in Lam’s Livermore factory
•Factory designs
•Project management
•Data compilation and analysis
•Executive presentations

 

Required Skills:
•Expert knowledge of Toyota Production System / Lean Manufacturing concepts
•Kanban
•Elimination of Muda
•Kaizen

•Operations and material flow
•AutoCAD
•Facility/cleanroom designs and facilities
•Manufacturing engineering and test
•Database structures and queries
•SAP/ERP
•Capability to analyze and interpret data with statistical methods
•Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
•Must have a passion for manufacturing, software and data, and finding better/faster ways of doing everything you do

 

Education:

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
