Job Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Master Black Belt, will be part of the Business Process Development group to lead a team of cross-functional employees in temporary assigned roles charged with developing a strong competency in process management, designs, techniques, tools and methodology including but not limited to six sigma, value stream mapping, lean and change management. The person will collaborate with leaders on strategic initiatives and work directly with leaders in the organization to identify and recruit high performing individuals into the Lean Six Sigma program.

Other Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy succession plans for rotational black belts.
  • Focus areas include all aspects of the business: Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning and Quality. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team.
  • Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc.
  • Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application.
  • Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or other engineering related
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of enterprise-wide process and systems integration experience; along with 10+ training and practice with lean six sigma deployment and change management. Strong project planning and management skills; ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals.
  • Significant experience leading and contributing to cross-functional teams and large-scale initiatives in a process management role; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Compelling leadership presence that motivates teams to deliver results with a strong customer focus. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams at varying levels within the organization, including team members who are not direct reports through Lean six Sigma certification: Yellow belt, Green Belt and Black Belt.
  • Ability to communicate and connect with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work through conflicts in a cross functional environment,
  • Demonstrated experience to use influence to build positive working relationships with subject matter experts.

  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
  • MBA
  • Semiconductor or Automotive experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience
