Job Responsibilities

The Customer Services Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of Logistics services and support to internal/external organizations. Manages all facets of resolving real time Freight, Trade, Material Movement and Warehouse issues globally.

This role can be located in Livermore, CA or Tualatin, OR

Other Job Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to a team of global customer service team members providing solutions to internal and external customers.
  • Analyzes operational processes, escalation procedures, and performs training needs assessments for identifying opportunities for service delivery improvements and value add to stakeholder organizations.
  • Develops customer service department procedures.
  • Liaises between stakeholders and external entities to resolve Logistics related inquiries.
  • Work closely with internal customers that include High Volume Manufacturing, Production Control, Pilot Manufacturing, Product Group Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Foreign Trade.  
  • You will be responsible to hire customer service team members and ensure team is properly trained with systems and procedures
  • Streamline processes to ensure efficiencies.
Minimum Qualification
  • BS or BA in a Business field, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service in increasing roles; at least 2 years in a Supervisory/Managerial capacity
  • Experience and knowledge working with a Transportion Management System
  • Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in written form, to all levels of the organization
  • Have a track record of measured successes working in a cross functional business environment
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Ability to solve complex logistics and transporation problems
Preferred Qualification

Experience supervising/managing a global team

Experience with CRM/CSM platforms
