Job Responsibilities

As part of Order Fulfilment Strategic Planning Management team, this individual will be responsible to manage Business Sizing – gathering agreements with internal stakeholders to align sizing capabilities and document operational plan that ensures capability will be delivered in the 3 year horizon and can be executed to in the 18 month horizon.  Stakeholders include four business units and a global operations team that includes 7 factory locations and all accompanying operational functions. Success in this role requires clear communication at the executive level / down and across the organization. 
This individual is responsible to ensure Lam’s commitment levels are set based on rational demonstration of performance and ramp planning.  On a monthly basis this individual will be required to revisit the sizing alignment across the GOPS organization based latest performance and market changes.  Sizing alignment translates to clear documentation of launch and completion capabilities at the module level and $ level. 
Two programs critical to Lam Management System are led by this team, Integrated Capacity Planning and Planned Output Processes.  Within those CFT Programs clear decisions must be driven from this team, tracking of execution and escalations when we are off track is a must.  Within GOPs, the Factory MFG Teams are accountable to deliver clear manufacturing roadmaps to this team.  And within GOPs, the Supply Chain team is accountable to deliver supplier capacity commitments and roadmaps.

Other Job Responsibilities

Other responsibilities may include Program management of flexibility programs that were aligned within GOPs by the Demand Management Team (LT reduction, specific product ramp planning).  Success in the role may also require driving transformation of infrastructure systems with Lam’s BP&S and GIS teams.
This individual will be expected to demonstrate Lam's Core Values, including strong leadership which we define as driving positive change and continuous improvements.  Doing so will require leading Cross Functional Teams through problem statements, planning, and implementation (using disciplines such as Lean or Six Sigma).  Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
