The Impact You’ll Make

The Senior Operations Business Analyst is part of the Spares Planning organization who partners with the Customer Service Business group (CSBG), regional planners, spares customer service, and leaders across the company to identify issues impacting our customers, which may limit our ability to meet business objectives.

This role will have a high-profile presence and will be able to contribute and make a difference in the global operations increasing our value to our customers and our internal functions.

What You’ll Do

• You will manage and lead large complex projects for internal and external end-users from discovery through execution and support.
• Support critical Spares Planning ramp activities for different tools and commodities.
• Partner with CSBG to drive planning / network actions on Silfex / Silicon commodity and MS strategy retention plans.
• Work on advanced analytics projects such as text mining to develop insights supporting our demand and forecast.
• Work with Spares, Order Fulfillment, and Planning management on Integrated Planning Solutions.
• Partner with Supply Chain to improve MRP signal stability and implement improvement plans and strategies.
• Provide support as needed for critical project needs such as Digital Transformation / ASW / Forecast Accuracy

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality management, Supply Chain, or related degree; or master’s degree in industrial engineering.
• Eight (8) years of related experience in a similar role.
• Proven continuous improvement analytical experience, business analysis and
• Project Management experience, to include defining the problem statement and objectives, development of analysis and solution approach.
• Ability and willingness to work with multiple cross functional teams.
• Proficiency in advanced statistics, knowledge of statistical methods for modeling multivariate data sets including machine learning techniques and other methods for modeling physical or electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Quick base, Power BI capability and development.
• Ability to present conclusions and recommendations to executive audiences.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
