Job Responsibilities
  • Executes GIS approved projects and directives in support of business requirements as directed by the MFG IT Administrator Lead
  • Support of all computer & network equipment on the Manufacturing Floor and Warehouse
  • Implements, monitors and maintains Information Security Cyber Controls for all computer devices on the Manufacturing Floor and Warehouse, consistent with defined polices and Manufacturing groups business requirements
  • Responsible for execution of Annual Device Audit and Certification of all Manufacturing devices per policy.
  • Monitor and report all security and threat risks (physical, technical, administrative) and work with GIS to mitigate and resolve
  • Provides 7x24 on-call troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Provides 1st-level and 2nd-level support. Act as single point of contact for IT services and escalations relative to Cyber Controls. Interfaces with appropriate GIS Service Towers as necessary.
  • Utilize approved procedures to ensure that hardware and software are deployed, implemented and supported per business requirements and aligned to company standards/policies.
  • Utilize GIS Change Control model when applicable to document overall status of the Manufacturing Floor and Warehouse environments, including Asset Management\Tracking; Align to Corporate Change Control Board and Vendor\Supplier requirements as necessary.
  • Participate in GIS projects to test, pilot and or implement new hardware and software as necessary in support of the Manufacturing Floor and Warehouse activity\requirements.
  • Maintain technical skills in areas of specialty. 
  • Monitor and report non-compliant system, network and cyber control practices to GIS, Manufacturing or Warehouse Manager
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and technical diagrams in support of Cyber Security Controls.

Other duties and functions to be as assigned.

Defines, designs and implements network communications and solution improvements. Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Manages the load configuration of a central data communication processor and makes recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks. Coordinates terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing. Approves action requests and specifies purchase requirement. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers.

Minimum Qualification

•2-3+ years of experience supporting an enterprise heterogeneous computing environment in areas of specialty (Cyber Controls)

•Strong communication skills that facilitate productivity and collaboration among the Manufacturing Floor and Warehouse customers, GIS and other Lam support organizations, and outside IT vendors

•Bachelors’ degree in a related area or equivalent work experience is required.


•Operating System\Platform Support ◦1-3+ years of hands on experience installing and configuring Microsoft Windows Servers
◦1-3+ years of hands on experience installing and configuring Unix / Linux computers
◦1-3+ years of hands on experience installing and configuring Windows 10, 7, XP and legacy NT devices
◦Experience with storage (SAN, local), backups, disaster recovery

•Network connectivity Administration. ◦2+ years of hands on experience managing connectivity infrastructure (including remote) and services.
◦Experience maintaining and administering Cisco router Access Control Lists and Firewall rules.
◦Experience with end to end connectivity troubleshooting and resolving end user connectivity issues

•Remote connectivity Administration ◦2+ years of hands on experience managing remote connectivity infrastructure and services
◦Experience maintaining and administering groups
◦Experience supporting end users and troubleshooting and resolving remote connectivity issues

•Security / Access Control Administration ◦1-3+ years of hands on experience supporting and managing Cyber Security Control BKM
◦1-3+ years of hands on experience supporting and managing PKI infrastructure.
◦1-3+ years of hands on experience supporting and managing PAN infrastructure\devices
◦Experience supporting end users and troubleshooting and resolving authentication issues
◦Design and maintain network and computer access controls based on Manufacturing standards in support of defined Business and Security requirements and policies
◦1-3+ years hands on experience managing and supporting Trend Micro Office Scan software and host-based Intrusion Prevention Systems (ideally PAN devices)
◦Experience managing antivirus configurations on servers, appliances and desktops\laptops
◦Experience in isolating, quarantining, eradicating, and working to resolved identified viruses and malware on servers and end users’ devices
◦Understanding and knowledge of security and internal / external network
◦Experience supporting technically diverse security infrastructure

•General ◦Understanding of multiple technologies and protocols from networking to servers to storage.
◦Excellent End User Support and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualification
  • Prior experience working in clean room or Manufacturing and Warehouse environments is a strong plus
  • Consistent self-starter requiring minimal direction
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborates well with all departments and organizational levels
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize frequently changing needs
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement and discretion

Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving and lifting computer and other equipment as required
