  1. Position: Industrial Engineer

  2. Level: 27E

  3. Qualification

    1. Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing or Industrial Technology

    2. Should have a Minimum 8 years of practical experience in industrial engineering in an                 automotive or automation environment.

    3. Knowledge of Capacity calculation, Process­Flow and large scale of lean production design and manufacturing line design

    4. Tool and fixture design with AUTO CAD and ergonomics knowledge

  4. Skill and Competency

    1. Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

    2. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    3. Proficient in Auto CAD

  5. Responsibilities

    1. Lean production line design and optimization

    2. Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow

    3. Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel

    4. Interfaces with production personnel, design engineering and other manufacturing engineers on incorporating changes to the processes which improve product manufacturability and quality

    5. Develop tools and fixtures that enable manufacturing and process improvement

    6. Perform assignments requiring use and application of standard engineering techniques

    7. Design fixtures and specialized tooling for use in manufacturing processes

    8. Prepare work station or equipment layouts for new production or modify existing layouts using AutoCad software

    9. Perform time studies in support of level loading and productivity enhancements

    10. Utilize line-balancing techniques to determine process or operator loading and production flow

    11. Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles on process improvement initiatives

    12. Develop cost-benefit comparisons of alternate methods, parts, tooling, or equipment
