Job Responsibilities
Lam’s Production Control Supervisor (Spares Operations function) supervises a complex set of business processes that are designed to support the Customer Service Business Group (CSBG) commercial business objectives and support a global base of customers with speed and flexible solutions. This position can be located in Phoenix, AZ, or Livermore, CA.
- Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
- Oversee the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
- Provide input to management; schedule and/or interface with Marketing, Sales, Production, and Engineering managers.
- Work to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Deliver inventory solutions to Lam's global manufacturing sites through the identification of supply solutions utilizing a worldwide inventory network and managing logistical teams to deliver to identified sites.
- Supervise a team to support specific functional and organizational objectives as identified by the executive and senior management staff.
- Identify and implement solutions in a complex matrix environment working with stakeholders across numerous global teams, utilizing the accepted Lam escalation process to align stakeholder functions where applicable
- Collect, format, and report data to established set of Key Point Indicators (KPI's) and identify where corrections are required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related, or more than eight (8) years’ directly-related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse Logistics, or Spares Operations
- Previous Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with SAP 4.7 (or higher); and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast pace changing work environment in Production and Scheduling in support of both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated problem solving skills in a matrixed business structure
