The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

 

Summary of Responsibilities

Manage end to end operations of the Asia Spares Hub (Sepang, KLIA). Including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, order fulfillment, and overall EHS standards and third-party vendor management.

  • Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Others Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop operation team fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to high demanding SLA from global internal and external customers.
  • Oversee WMS system with seamless integration with automation equipment.
  • Navigate and ensure compliance with KLIA FCZ regulations to facilitate smooth and compliant operations.
  • Driving warehouse Key Performance Indicators
  • Drive cost saving initiatives and contribute to the development of strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Excellent presentation skills in both oral and written communication to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing large-scale warehouse operations, preferably in high volume pick, pack & ship industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP WM modules, EDI, and experience with automation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of FCZ regulations and experience ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
