Job Responsibilities

Semsysco is part of Lam Research since 2022

 

- Technical and operational management of the process technology including process roadmap, hardware requirements, cost of ownership calculations, competitiveness
- Technical and operational management of the process team;
- Development of electrochemical and/or etching processes on SEMSYSCO equipment;
- Problem analysis and solution finding in electrochemical/etching tasks;
- Planning and execution of complex scientific and technical experiments for customer projects;
- Evaluation, documentation and presentation of results;
- Literature research of existing processes and products;
- Writing of technical reports;
- Process accompanying measurements;
- Demo process support at cooperation partners;
- Regular coordination with customers regarding projects;
- Support of suppliers;
- Characterization of material properties & compatibility.

Minimum Qualifications

- Completed university studies (master's degree or diploma) in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or similar;
- At least 5 years of experience in IC substrates, wet chemical deposition or etching processes;
- Several years of leadership experience and proven ability to work in a team;
- Business fluent English language skills;
- High customer orientation;
- Strong technical interest and solution affinity;
- Systematic approach to work and independent application of strategies and procedures for problem solving (e.g. FMEA);
- Good communication skills and intercultural competence.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
