The Impact You’ll Make
The incumbent is responsible for the regional marketing and VoC on advanced packaging solutions through direct customers engagement (TRMs, visits) and/or regional packaging technologists / account managers for APCO to maximize business opportunities. He/She will also be responsible for driving cross region technical forums for packaging knowledge and success stories sharing, point of contact for Competitive Intelligence landscape, and support accountability systems (QBR, SAR, AOP, and as required).
What You’ll Do
- Engage in technical marketing activities to advanced packaging customers worldwide (via Technical Review Meetings, tradeshows), including developing collateral and being speaker/presenter
- Work with Account teams to identify penetration businesses and projects, align with on account / sales strategies to support of corporate objectives
- Align with PGs and plan for integrated demo (multiple products) request by customers
- Organize cross region technical forums for packaging knowledge and success stories sharing
- Build key customers’ technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues/challenges. Communicate them to Corporate for product development and positioning strategy discussion / planning
- Collect and deliver Voice of Customers on above matter to corporate, and identify areas where Lam is able to value-add
- Update of competitive intelligence to corporate and identify area of risk or opportunities due to competitor’ activities/actions
- Technical and strategy support for accountability systems (QBR, SAR, AOP, etc)
- Establish and build customer relations and business partnering
- Manage technology team as extension to achieve above operation and technical needs
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day work of his direct reports.
- Responsible for the annual Performance Management & Development exercise of his direct reports.
- Develop and mentor high-potential personnel in order to continuously build a stronger team as well as provide opportunities for qualified internal personnel.
Who We’re Looking For
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- >10 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry (especially in the packaging business
- Technical knowledge of wafer or panel level etch, clean, deposition and plating technology is preferred
- Customer management know-how including excellent people management and strategic customer relationship building skills
- Knowledge of advanced packaging customers will be an advantage
- Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills.
- Strong technical presentation skills
- Possesses good analytical and problem solving skills
- Commands good oral and written English
- Has ability to work on one’s own and make decisions within the assigned area of responsibility

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
