Job Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for providing quality repair and carrying out preventive maintenance service of etch / clean / deposition equipment at customer sites. Other activities include installation, relocation of customer equipment, performing associated start-up and check-out activities.
Other Job Responsibilities
- Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites. Conduct associated start-up, cut over and check-out activities on the newly installed systems
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) or wet clean as per procedures and maintain all relevant written records as applicable
- When necessary, replace defective units, components or parts where appropriate
- Implement field modifications or updates as released in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) which may involve removal and installation of assemblies, sub-assemblies, systems and subsystems
- Maintain company’s assigned equipment (computer, tool kit, diagnostic test equipment, spare parts etc) in good working condition, secure and accounted for
- Carry out stand by duty and shift work is required
- Perform housekeeping duty as part of safety compliance and 6S requirement
- Take on ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Fab
- Independent and able to multi-task
- Experience in dealing with difficult work partners
- Good command of oral and written English
- Able to work swing shift (Tues – Sat and/or Wed – Sun)
- Able to perform rostered 24/7 on call standby duty for a week
