Job Responsibilities

As the Manager, Marketing Communications for SEA based in Singapore, you will play a critical role creating and executing strategic programs that span all communications channels and formats, align with our key business objectives, and advance Lam’s brand and reputation goals locally, regionally, and globally. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic communications counsel to leaders, building impactful plans, partnering with a variety of stakeholders to develop impactful content, and effectively amplifying our messages to internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Director of Communications for Southeast Asia and Korea, you will be responsible for helping us shape our narrative, inspire our workforce, bring our brand to life and shape perceptions of Lam with key audiences. This position requires strong cross-team collaboration across multiple functions and close partnership with corporate communications teammates across Asia and in the US. 

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy including public relations, executive communications, social media, brand, philanthropy, employee communications and intranet storytelling.
  • Implement programs that help regional leaders align and engage employees to achieve the desired business outcomes.
  • Cultivate media relationships, identify appropriate media opportunities, and drive positive coverage about Lam’s innovation, regional investments, social impact programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects.
  • Prepare talking points, speeches, presentations, and other supporting material for industry keynotes as needed.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to adapt and localize global communications programs and campaigns.
  • Exercise excellent judgment to provide communications counsel to senior executives on fast-moving, complex, and sensitive communications topics.
  • Manage and engage with agencies and contractors on a variety of projects and initiatives while maintaining appropriate project timelines to meet required deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement for our communications activities, including utilizing data and analytics to find trends and engage across the entire global communications team to make recommendations and continually raise the bar on quality and impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in corporate communications for multi-national public companies
  • Experience supporting communications for senior-level leader or C-Suite executives
  • Experienced leading projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders across functions and countries with a proven record of meeting objectives on time and on budget
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills, challenge the status quo, and recommend unique approaches to achieve the desired outcomes
  • A passion for engaging in new and innovative communication methods to drive breakthrough audience experiences
  • Ability to quickly understand complex business issues to distill messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Skillful at building effective relationships with key partners across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Ability to wisely invest resources (people, time, and budget) to maximize impact
  • Ability to act with urgency to juggle multiple projects without significant oversight and follow through to their impactful execution.
  • Strong team spirit, positive outlook, and sense of humor 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor experience preferred but not required.
  • Industry connections such as IESA, NASSCOMM, MEITY…etc.
