Job Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for the installed base performance and maintaining customer satisfaction and trust. Incumbent is required to run the day-to-day operations of the Service and Spares business including management of an account team’s total field operations.     

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Represent Lam to customer, develop and maintain good customer relationship. Be accountable for the customer satisfaction within assigned site/sites.
  • Manage installed base performance of assigned functions during warranty period to ensure achievement of system performance to product specifications.
  •  Manage the profitability of Service Contracts to ensure it meets agreed deliverables.
  • Work closely with sales, service and field process engineering to support customer technical requirements, evaluate product performance and conduct field trials
  • Provide technical guidance to customers and team on all aspects of equipment service support
  • Provide feedback to PG/CSBG group on system performance and engineering change recommendation to improve system safety, reliability and serviceability.
  • Generate forecast on engineering labor hours and expenses for assigned department and manage the utilization of engineers for a balanced absorption result.
  • Resolve escalation with RPS complying with Lam’s Escalation Policies
  • Ensure safety of engineers by identifying any hazards in the environment and provide continuous training to the engineering team
  • Direct and supervise the day-to-day work of his direct reports
  • Develop the team capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • More than 6 years related experience in semiconductor industry
  • Good technical knowledge of Lam’s products in the assigned function
  • Familiar with Lam’s internal Management Systems including financial / P&L model
  • Good customer fronting, communication and inter-personal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
