The Global Finance Group drives financial strategies based on expert understanding of Lam's breakthrough technologies, the semiconductor market, and the global business environment. They manage our company's financials and relationships with our investor community to ensure we have the strong financial foundation to fuel innovation and growth.

 

The Impact You’ll Make

This role primarily supports SEA financial forecast and Business Finance activities. The employee will support various aspects of the business financials to enable better decision making and improve the financial positions with analysis, management reporting, and financial operations. The role also supports regional CSBG SOX coordination, process enhancement and audit closures.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, analyze and business partnering with operations to present financial information in a timely manner to enable decision making and meeting the financial accountability of the organization to various stakeholders.
  • Responsible in forecast inputs, analysis and period close journals of revenue, costs, spending to ensure high level of accuracy between forecast and actuals. Recommend financial solutions to improve profitability, AR collectability and ease of revenue recognition. Involve in Business Finance Operations, resolve issues that may implicate AR / Revenue recognition, including support to AR collection, GST issues, revenue rebate programs management.
  • Compliance analysis and reporting relating to CSBG SOX compliance.
  • Undertake streamlining projects and initiatives involving systems improvement, reporting improvement.
  • Matrix accountability to respective supervisor.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Accounting / Finance or Business Degree with Finance modules, or CIMA / ACCA equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of Finance / Accounting experience with > 5 years of recent experience in Analysis & at least 1-2 years handling audit / SOX tasks is preferred.
  • Experience in supporting business finance operations (Revenue & Cost Recognition, manage rebate programs, AR collection, etc.). Proven track record of business finance analysis and executive reporting.
  • Audit background strongly preferred and/or good knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore FRS.
  • Noteworthy experience in leading systems improvement projects would be an advantage.
  • Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills. Out-going personality and successful examples in cross-functional collaboration, managing difficult work partners.
  • Is meticulous and has a sharp eye for details. Efficient in time-management and able to prioritize in execution. Task accuracy is fundamental.
  • Commands good oral and written English.
  • Has ability to work independently, possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Very strong in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of SAP (and/or Business Intelligence, BI analytics) preferred.
