Regional Product Support Engineer_Experienced_PECVD

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
  • May be involved in customer installation and training.
  • Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Vector Series field escalations, emphasizing in Lam PECVD production system on Deposition products. PECVD concept (or ALD/ Metal) HW experience required
  • Analyze research data and product specifications. Acquire and apply engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems.
  • Responsibility includes instituting and owning corrective actions and following through to assure proper release and hand off of solutions to Technical Services and Field Process/Field Service organizations
  • Highly quantitative, and ability to articulate plan including findings, data collected and progress to Lam’s customers on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ semiconductor equipment experience
  • Direct experience in semiconductor Field Service, Field Process Service and Product Support a plus
  • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent, MS degree or PhD a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including good presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over 3 years experience on Vector MD & Versa
  • Over 3 year experience on Vector Sola
  • L3 Certificatier for Extrem core tool and  Over 3 years experience on Vector extreme core
