Job Responsibilities

  • Resolve Type-1 and Type-2 (T1: machine down, T2: Chronic issue) escalations meeting the customers’ expectations and escalation performance goals.
    • Communicates as a subject matter expert on high level technical issues and escalations while providing guidance and recommending solutions.
    • Partners with the account team to present to customers the problem statement, identified root causes and getting buy-in on proposed solutions
    • Drives required actions at the customer site to resolve escalations and prevent repeat problems
    • Utilizing structural technical problem solving process
  • Prepare supporting information and propose Type-3 escalation conversions when the released hardware/process/procedures cannot resolve the escalated problem.
  • Readiness and support new product qualification and issues
  • New product introduction and training for customer and FSE as required

Other Job Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Participates in Lam’s worldwide technical community and actively shares knowledge and takes a leadership position to enhance worldwide learning and its application.
  • Acts as technical mentor for field and account engineers and may design or conduct training sessions.


 Customer Relations

  • Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
  • Develops customer confidence through credible recommendations and an understanding of the customer’s perspective to support sales, service and revenue.

Minimum Qualification

•    B.S. in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry or equivalent
•    Total +7 years Semiconductor industry experience or +10 years major Semiconductor sub-components experienced 
 
Skills required
•    Good English communication and reporting skill
•    Effective communication in inter-departmental and cross cultural team
•    Technically competent to resolve all T1 & T2 escalations on Lam’s products
•    Able to communicate with customer at a high technical level & convince customer to follow action plan
•    Actively shares knowledge & learns from Lam’s worldwide technical community
