Job Responsibilities

As an expert in the HRIS field, the HRIS Analyst uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters for the development, implementation, and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resource and Lam enterprise requirements.  Helps provide strategic leadership or vision to the organization. Substantial role in partnering with the SAP/SuccessFactors HR Cloud and other HR Cloud Solutions (such as WorkHuman, Glint, Cornerstone etc.) to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff. Works with Global Human Resources personnel and GIS Applications team to evaluate HRIS software needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Serves as HR department liaison to GIS function and other BU’s across Lam that have dependencies on HR Data.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts complex analysis for core HR processes, consulting with and advising COE teams on process re-design in conjunction with developing systems implementation strategy and project plans to achieve business goals
  • Subject matter expert in HCM processes and systems, including subject matter expertise in multiple SuccessFactors modules and/or HR Cloud solutions
  • Creates BRD (business requirements documents) to support projects and enhancements in the HR Systems
  • Experienced in enterprise systems architecture and interdependencies on HR Systems/Data
  • Drives projects aimed at improving HR performance and efficiency, including but not limited to new large-scale deployments.
  • Makes recommendation for enhancements and drives their execution.
  • Provides root cause analysis and resolution to issues related to current production environment as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in partnership with GIS Production Support teams
  • Provides functional HRIS support to the HR community on HR processes and systems, including creating and rolling out training to end users
  • Ensures data security and standards are adhered to; ensures local compliance
  • Drives projects and solutions concerning the non-U.S. Countries and advocates for the regions for enhancements or projects
  • Ensures adherence to audit and data integrity standards related to HR Cloud Solutions
  • Partners with US and India teams
  • Other special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in workforce management (HRIS) tools, reporting, audit and automation methodologies 
  • A creative thinker who challenges the status quo and fosters unique approaches to evaluating systems improvements
  • An empowered self-starter able to work without significant oversight and follow through to impactful execution 
  • Critical thinking and an ability to understand complex systems issues to break them down to create and implement an action plan 
  • Passion for engaging in complex problems that require partnership across teams 
  • Strong collaboration and communications skills, ability to engage with others
  • Be coachable and open to embracing new ways of doing things 
  • Expertise in one or more SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Compensation, Talent, Performance and Goals.
  • Experience in Cornerstone Learning preferred.
