Knowledge Program Manager

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for this position will be to develop and implement a state-of-the-art Knowledge Management (KM) program for the Lam Global Spares Operations organization which spans 500 plus employees in eight-regions. Program will include the development of system and tools, procedures, and a governance mechanism that ensures organizational learning is effective, efficient, and constantly evolving to adapt with changing business conditions and requirements. Another aspect for this program is to align with the overall corporate strategy adopting Best Known Methods (BKM’s) or providing BKM’s from Spares program.

Opportunity will require the candidate to initiate a large global project that successfully generates business requirements from stakeholder teams around the world, identify the system and tools to meet requirements, and manage a project through to implementation. Requirements of the KM system post-implementation will move into a Program status, where candidate will be required to drive effectiveness of the new learning system. A strong governance system is required that measures not only adoption but effectiveness of the knowledge transfer to point of use in the organization.

Secondary responsibilities will include yearly establishment of budgets to ensure KM program is adequately funded to meet business requirements. Candidate could also be required to support smaller projects as defined by the Spares Operations project management office or manager.

Job will be remote to start then 3 days onsite starting November 2022 -will be located at 25800 North Norterra Parkway, Phoenix, Arizona 85085

Minimum Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and able to take an initiative and run with little to no direct instruction
  • Successful demonstration of large-scale project implementations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced Knowledge Management systems and processes
  • Experience in implementing and managing Knowledge Management programs in a Global environment
  • Strong influential leadership experience, typically demonstrated by successful implementation of projects (globally)
  • Project Management Institute certification or equivalent coursework is desired
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is minimum education requirement
