Assist in the development of analysis to optimize Lam's manufacturing network for capacity, flexibility and cost, taking into account:

  • Factory capacity
  • Business continuity plans and options
  • Product demand over time, customer, volume and mix scenarios
  • Input constraints, such as labor and material
  • Inbound logistics
  • Outbound logistics
  • other external factors


From the analysis, assist in the development of scenario-based recommendations for long-term network optimization.



  • Completion of 1 year / 2 semesters of Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research or other related discipline
  • Prefer undergraduate degree in related discipline and/or experience in manufacturing, supply chain or logistics role
  • Competence using relevant modeling software
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility in hours in order to accomodate calls with Asia or Europe-based stakeholders
  • Interest in the topic for personal and professional development, passion for learning and enthusiasm
